The Ferrari SF90 Stradale is Ferrari's first series-production plug-in hybrid and, at its 2019 launch, the most powerful road Ferrari ever built. Unveiled at Maranello on May 29, 2019, it pairs a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 (the F154 FA, 769 hp / 780 PS on its own) with three electric motors for a combined 986 hp (1,000 PS) and 590 lb-ft, driving through an 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Two of the motors sit on the front axle, which makes the SF90 the first all-wheel-drive Ferrari of its kind and lets it torque-vector the front wheels. It is a genuinely quick car by any measure: 0–100 km/h in a claimed 2.5 seconds and 211 mph flat out.
The name is a Scuderia Ferrari tribute, marking the racing team's 90th anniversary, and the SF90 slots above the mid-engine V8 line (the F8) as a hybrid flagship rather than a limited-run halo car like LaFerrari. A 7.9 kWh battery gives about 25 km of silent, front-drive-only running, and drivers choose among four powertrain modes through a second steering-wheel dial. A lightweight, track-biased Assetto Fiorano option adds Multimatic dampers, extra carbon, a titanium exhaust and stickier tires. This is the fixed-roof coupe; an SF90 Spider with a retractable hard top followed in 2020.

A 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 drives the rear wheels through an 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox, and three electric motors add drive: one (the MGUK) sits between the engine and gearbox, and two more, one per wheel, sit on the front axle. Those front motors make the SF90 all-wheel drive and also vector torque left-to-right; above about 135 km/h (84 mph), or once the battery is depleted, drive reverts to the rear. A 7.9 kWh lithium-ion pack gives roughly 25 km (16 mi) of electric-only range and can move the car on the front axle alone in eDrive mode. Mode selection is by a second steering-wheel dial, the eManettino (eDrive, Hybrid, Performance, Qualify).
Yes: the XX Stradale and XX Spider. They have a fixed rear wing, the first on a road-going Ferrari since the F50. They're also strictly limited (799 coupes, 599 spiders), where the standard SF90 is a regular series model.
