1. 1Confirm the driveshaft recall is closed (NHTSA 24V-810). On affected 2023 cars the driveshaft screws may not have been tightened in production and could loosen, risking loss of traction; the fix inspects and tightens them. The campaign also covered the 2023 F8 Spider and 2024 Roma Spider.
2. 2Confirm the brake-fluid recall is closed (NHTSA 22V-536, Ferrari RC 80) on 2021-2022 cars. The reservoir cap may fail to vent, creating a vacuum and a possible fluid leak that can reduce braking; the fix replaces the cap and adds a low-fluid warning.
3. 3Operate the roof fully, open and closed, and listen for wind and water leaks. The two-piece hardtop is complex and expensive to repair, so make sure it cycles cleanly.
4. 4The folding hardtop can stall partway through its cycle and throw a 'Roof Failure' or 'complete roof cycle' warning with the roof unlatched, most often from a failed or misaligned microswitch or Hall sensor; an obstruction or a low battery can also trip it into stopping. It carries over the California-derived RHT and can recur after a temporary fix, so put it through several full open/close cycles and confirm it latches before buying.
