The S e-tron GT is the entry point into Audi's facelifted electric Gran Turismo range, replacing the unbadged e-tron GT quattro at the September 2024 refresh. Audi folded the base model into its S-performance naming convention for the first time; the car's role in the lineup didn't change, only the name. Like its predecessor, it rides on the 800-volt J1 platform shared with the Porsche Taycan, sharing chassis hardware but not tuning, styling, or cabin sound.
This covers the facelifted generation, sold in the US from the 2025 model year on. It carries a larger, lighter battery than the Gen1 car, faster DC charging, and a new face with a blacked-out mask around an inverted Singleframe grille. It's still built at Audi's small-series Böllinger Höfe plant in Neckarsulm, Germany, alongside the R8 and its own Gen1 predecessor.
US NHTSA campaigns for this model. A listed campaign may not apply to a particular car, and may already have been remedied — check a specific car by VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls.
