The 911 Turbo S Cabriolet (997.2) is the open-top Turbo S: the DFI twin-turbo with higher-flow turbos, PDK-only, with center-lock wheels, PCCB ceramics and torque vectoring standard, under a power fabric top.
Its DFI engine has no IMS bearing, so the failure mode of the older water-cooled cars does not apply. Inspect the coolant pipes and DFI fuel system, confirm the center-lock recall on 2010–2011 cars, and budget for the standard PCCB ceramics.
