The 911 Carrera RSR 3.8 (993) is the factory customer race car derived from the Carrera RS, built in tiny numbers (around 45) and campaigned in GT racing. It uses a race-prepared 3.8-liter version of the air-cooled flat-six in a stripped, caged competition shell.
As a purpose-built race car it has little published road-car data — output and weight figures are not reliably documented from a primary source. It is among the last air-cooled racing 911s Porsche built.
