The 911 S/T (992.1) is the 60th-anniversary special and the driver's car of the generation: the GT3 RS's naturally aspirated 4.0-liter paired with a short-ratio six-speed manual and a lightened driveline (a single-mass flywheel and lighter clutch), in the wingless, Touring-style body. Its run of 1,963 references 1963, the year the 911 launched.
Heavy use of carbon fiber, magnesium wheels, lightweight glass and a lithium-ion starter battery make it the lightest 992 — in effect the RS engine in the most analog 992 shell. Carbon-ceramic and track running costs apply.
