The 911 Dakar (992.1) is the rally-raid 911 — explicitly not a lightweight. It is built on Carrera 4 GTS running gear (the 3.0-liter twin-turbo, all-wheel drive, eight-speed PDK) but raised on a taller suspension with extra hydraulic lift, riding on Pirelli Scorpion all-terrain tires with skid protection, a stainless underbody guard and roof-rack provisions.
Its character is genuine dirt- and dune-usable ability, with added Rallye and Off-Road drive modes — rather than track pace. Top speed is capped by the all-terrain tires, not the engine. Limited to 2,500 cars.
