The 911 Carrera T (991.2) is the lighter, driver-focused base 911. It keeps the base 3.0-liter twin-turbo but adds a hardware set aimed at feel: PASM Sport lowered suspension, a shorter final-drive ratio, a mechanical rear differential lock, a sports exhaust, the Sport Chrono package, 20-inch Carrera S wheels and a shortened shift lever.
Weight comes out through thinner side and rear glass, reduced sound deadening and deleted rear seats, and the manual pairs with that shorter final drive for a keener, more analog base 911.
