The AMG GT is the entry point to Mercedes-AMG's C190 two-door, launched for 2015 as the follow-up to the SLS AMG. It drops the SLS's gullwing doors and naturally aspirated 6.2 V8 for conventional doors and AMG's M178 4.0-liter twin-turbo 'hot-V' V8, mounted behind the front axle with a 7-speed dual-clutch at the rear axle for balance. Early cars made 456 hp (462 PS); the 2017 facelift base is 469 hp (476 PS).

It's the softest, most GT-flavored version of the line, aimed squarely at the Porsche 911, and it keeps the long-hood, cab-rearward look that defines every C190.
