The Evora GT430 (2017-2018) is the most powerful regular-production Lotus built to that point, and the rarest regular-production Evora: Lotus planned only around 60 units, shared across the GT430 and GT430 Sport together. A large carbon rear wing, front splitter and diffuser generate real aerodynamic downforce rather than being purely cosmetic.
Curb-to-curb against the Evora 400, the GT430 is about 212 lb (96 kg) lighter — a real but more modest saving than a widely repeated online claim of '~300 lb lighter,' which does not reconcile with Lotus's own published curb weights for the two cars.

Same engine and identical power output, and essentially the same weight — the Sport is only 10 kg (22 lb) lighter than the standard GT430. The difference is aerodynamic and visual: the standard GT430 wears a large carbon rear wing and front splitter for 250 kg of downforce at top speed, while the GT430 Sport deletes both for a cleaner look and correspondingly less downforce (100 kg).
