The Evora 400 (2015-2016) is a substantial mid-life redesign: a new front end borrowed styling cues from the Exige, and Lotus switched the supercharger supplier from Harrop to an intercooled Edelbrock unit, worth roughly 55 hp on its own over the Evora S. It also introduced a reworked, Lotus-developed aluminum 'precision shift' gear-linkage mechanism, replacing the cable-operated shifter used on every Evora before it.
It's the heaviest of the supercharged Evoras apart from the final Evora GT, since every model in between (Sport 410, GT430, GT430 Sport, GT410 Sport) was built specifically to shed weight versus the 400.
