For model year 2026, Lotus renamed the four-cylinder Emira 'Turbo SE' and gave it a genuine power increase — up 40 hp and 37 lb-ft over the outgoing base car — announced in a June 2025 press release alongside the parallel V6 SE. The Turbo SE also adds the Lotus Drivers Pack (sport suspension, uprated brakes, launch control) as standard, along with 20-inch forged Satin Grey wheels, Zinc Grey paint, red brake calipers and an Alcantara headliner.

Unlike the V6 SE, which carries over its predecessor's output unchanged, the Turbo SE is a real step up from the car it replaces rather than just a trim-level rename.
