The Urus Performante (2023) is the track-focused Urus. It makes the same 657 hp (666 PS) as the S, but the point isn't power, it's weight and chassis. Lamborghini's "360° lightweight approach" trims about 104 lb (~47 kg) versus the Urus S through a carbon-fiber hood, a standard carbon-fiber roof, and carbon front fenders and wheel-arch extensions. It also drops the S's air suspension for steel springs, sits about 20 mm lower, runs a wider track, and rides on standard 22-inch wheels.
All of that is aimed at handling, not top speed, which is essentially unchanged from the S. The Performante is firmer and more focused, the Urus you buy to drive hard rather than to be cosseted. It even adds a Rally drive mode for loose surfaces.
