The Huracan LP610-4 (2014-2019) replaced the Gallardo, Lamborghini's best-selling car, and set the template the whole family ran with: a 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10, all-wheel drive, and a carbon-and-aluminum hybrid chassis. The name reads as LP (longitudinal rear engine) plus 610 CV plus "4" for all-wheel drive.

The big change from the Gallardo is the gearbox. The Huracan was the first Lamborghini with a proper dual-clutch, a 7-speed unit that shifts far quicker and smoother than the old single-clutch automated manual. It shares its V10 and much of its structure with the Audi R8, but wears the sharper, more aggressive suit.
