The Gallardo LP560-2 50 Anniversario (2013) marks 50 years of Lamborghini, 1963 to 2013. It's a rear-wheel-drive car making 552 hp (560 PS), finished in a special shimmering white called Bianco Opalis with a white-and-gold longitudinal stripe running nose to tail, dark-gray wheels, a transparent engine cover, and the Superleggera's carbon rear wing. Only 100 were built.
It's remembered as effectively the last rear-drive, manual-gearbox Lamborghini before the marque moved to all-wheel drive and dual-clutch across the board. It's an appearance and send-off special, not a lightweight.

That's how it's widely remembered. It's a rear-wheel-drive car that could be ordered with the gated six-speed manual, and after the Gallardo wound down, Lamborghini moved to all-wheel drive and dual-clutch gearboxes across the range. So the 50 Anniversario is generally cited as the last of the manual, rear-drive Lamborghinis.
