About the Lamborghini Countach 5000 QV
The 5000 QV (1985-1988), for Quattrovalvole, gave the 5.2-liter V12 new four-valve-per-cylinder heads and a big power jump. It's the most powerful classic Countach and, in wide-body red or white with the big optional rear wing, the definitive 1980s supercar poster.
European cars kept six Weber carburetors. US cars switched to Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection to meet emissions and gave up some output. It's the fastest and most muscular of the carbureted cars, and the high point of the classic Countach before the Anniversary restyle.
