The Centenario Roadster (2016-2017) is the open version of the coupe, shown at Pebble Beach in August 2016. Lamborghini built 20, again all pre-sold, on the same Aventador SV-derived carbon monocoque and to the same brief: a few-off marking founder Ferruccio Lamborghini's 100th birthday. Everything mechanical carries over, including the 759 hp (770 PS) V12, all-wheel drive, rear-wheel steering, and the single-clutch ISR gearbox.
The trade for losing the roof is weight. It runs about 110 lb (~50 kg) over the coupe for the open-top structure, with the drivetrain and performance otherwise unchanged. In return you get the open naturally aspirated V12, which on this engine is the whole point.

Rear-wheel steering. The Centenario was the first Lamborghini to use it, turning the rear wheels opposite the fronts at low speed to tighten the turning circle and in phase at high speed for stability. Lamborghini then put the system into regular production on the Aventador S later in 2016.
