The Aventador LP700-4 Roadster (2013-2016) is the open version of the base coupe. The roof is two removable carbon-fiber panels that stow in the front trunk rather than a folding mechanism, so it stays true to the coupe's shape with the top on. Everything mechanical carries over: the 690 hp (700 PS) V12, all-wheel drive, and the single-clutch ISR gearbox.
It adds roughly 110 lb (~50 kg) over the coupe for the roof structure and reinforcement, and gives up a little stiffness. In return you get an open-top V12 experience.
