2. 2Confirm the Aperta fuel-system recall is closed. NHTSA 19V090 covered 2017 LaFerrari Aperta cars whose fuel vapor separator could crack and leak fuel; the dealer fix replaced the separator. Verify open/closed status by VIN at nhtsa.gov.
3. 3Confirm the brake-system recall is closed. NHTSA 22V536 (Ferrari internal RC 80) added the 2017 LaFerrari Aperta to a wide Ferrari campaign for a brake fluid reservoir cap that could fail to vent, letting a vacuum form that could leak fluid and cause partial or total loss of braking. The fix replaced the cap and added a low-brake-fluid warning by software; verify closed by VIN at nhtsa.gov.
4. 4Inspect the switchgear and cabin trim for sticky soft-touch coating. Like other Ferraris of this era, the rubberized finish on buttons, switches and trim can break down with heat, UV and age into a tacky, greasy surface that later peels; the fix is stripping and re-coating the affected parts, which is labor-intensive.
5. 5Completeness matter given the ~210-car run: confirm both the removable hardtop and the soft top are present.
6. 6Servicing runs through Ferrari's Classiche/specialist network given the carbon tub and high-voltage system; independents are not appropriate. Ferrari's long factory service program (free scheduled maintenance for the early years) means many cars have full dealer history, which is what to look for.
