The Ferrari GTC4Lusso T (2017-2020) is the rear-wheel-drive, turbocharged sibling of the V12 GTC4Lusso. Revealed at the 2016 Paris Motor Show, it drops the front driveshafts and the naturally aspirated V12 for a 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 (the F154 BD, 602 hp), the same engine family as the 488 and California T. It keeps the shooting-brake body, four seats and four-wheel steering, but sends drive to the rear wheels only.
The result is lighter than the V12 (about 50 kg less), cheaper to buy new, and a more overtly sporting, tail-happy character, at the cost of the V12's all-weather traction and its naturally aspirated soundtrack. It was pitched as the more agile, everyday GTC4Lusso for buyers who did not need all-wheel drive. Like the V12, it was hand-built in Maranello.
