The Ferrari F12tdf (2015-2017) is the hardcore, track-focused version of the F12berlinetta, limited to 799 units and named for the Tour de France road race that the Ferrari 250 GT 'Tour de France' dominated between 1956 and 1964. The 6.3-liter V12 is pushed to 769 hp, the car sheds about 110 kg through carbon-fiber panels and a stripped, more aggressive build, and downforce climbs 87% over the berlinetta.

Its signature is rear-wheel steering, Ferrari calls it the Virtual Short Wheelbase (Passo Corto Virtuale), which sharpens turn-in like a shorter car while keeping high-speed stability. Wider front tires close the gap to the rears for more front-end bite. It is louder, firmer and far more focused than the standard car, a limited-run send-off for the naturally aspirated front-V12 GT before the 812 arrived.
