The Ferrari 812 Superfast (internal type F152M, 2017-2024) is the front-engine V12 flagship that replaced the F12berlinetta. Its name is a throwback to the 1960s 500 Superfast, and the car is one of the last of Ferrari's naturally aspirated front-V12 GTs before the hybrid era. The 6.5-liter F140 GA V12 makes 789 hp (800 PS) at 8,500 rpm and revs to 8,900, sending drive to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch. It was Ferrari's most powerful non-hybrid production car at launch.
Under the classic long-hood, two-seat berlinetta shape sits serious hardware: 350-bar direct injection, electric power steering (a Ferrari road-car first) tied to Virtual Short Wheelbase 2.0 rear-wheel steering, and magnetorheological dampers. It was revealed at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show and built in Maranello. This is a big, fast, front-engine GT first and a corner-carver second, and the engine is the star.
