  During rear-differential service the rear sub-frame bolts may have been reused rather than replaced and can loosen, adversely affecting handling and control. Remedy: dealers replace the rear sub-frame bolts.

  The driveshaft-to-flange connection can fail, causing a loss of propulsion. Affects 2017 M4 Convertible. Remedy: dealers replace the driveshaft.

  Front seat belt Emergency Locking Retractors may use an incompatible locking-mechanism housing, which could prevent proper restraint in a crash. Affects 2018 M4 Convertible. Remedy: dealers inspect and replace front seat belt assemblies.

  A head (curtain) airbag inflator can rupture at a weld joint, potentially spraying metal fragments or under-deploying in a crash. Affects certain 2015 model-year cars. Remedy: dealers replace the head airbags.
