The M3 Competition steps up to the 503 hp (510 PS) tune of the S58, adding 30 PS and 74 lb-ft over the base car, and swaps the manual for the 8-speed M Steptronic automatic. It's the volume choice of the range: quicker than the base M3 while staying rear-wheel drive.
Beyond the extra output, the Competition brings retuned chassis and stability-control settings and larger 19/20-inch wheels over the base car's 18/19-inch fitment. It's the car most G80 M3 buyers actually order.
