The Audi S6 Sedan (2020-2025) is the performance version of the third-generation, C8-platform A6, switching from the prior C7 generation's supercharged 3.0-liter TFSI V6 to a new turbocharged 2.9-liter TFSI V6 with a 48V mild-hybrid belt-alternator-starter system. Power runs through an 8-speed Tiptronic automatic to quattro all-wheel drive with a standard self-locking center differential; an active sport rear differential is available as an option.
It sits below the RS6 Avant in the performance lineup, and unlike the RS6, the S6 has never had a gap in US availability — it's been sold continuously through the whole C8 generation's 2020-2025 run.
