The Audi S5 Cabriolet (2013-2017) is the drop-top version of the facelifted second-generation A5's performance model. Like the prior generation, it uses the supercharged 3.0-liter TFSI V6 exclusively, paired only to a 7-speed S tronic dual-clutch automatic and quattro all-wheel drive; no manual was offered on the Cabriolet.

The facelift's real change was on the Coupe's side of the family: the Coupe's naturally aspirated V8 was retired in favor of the same supercharged V6 the Cabriolet had always used, so the two body styles finally share one engine. Audi also updated the V6 itself alongside the facelift, with reworked internals under what several sources describe as a "Gen 2" revision.
