The Audi RS5 Coupe (2013-2015 US model years) was the first RS-badged Audi sold in the US wearing the A5's two-door body, sitting above the S5 as the range-topping performance model on the facelifted B8.5 platform. Power comes from a naturally aspirated 4.2-liter FSI V8 in a higher state of tune than the version that powered the prior-generation S5 Coupe, paired exclusively to a 7-speed S tronic dual-clutch automatic and quattro all-wheel drive with a standard, torque-vectoring sport rear differential.
Unlike the S5, which continued through the 2017 model year, the RS5 Coupe's US run ended after 2015 — two full model years before the S5 twins were replaced by the redesigned B9-generation A5/S5/RS5.
