The Audi RS5 Cabriolet is the convertible version of the range-topping RS5, arriving in the US a model year behind the Coupe: while the Coupe launched for 2013, the Cabriolet reached US dealers as a 2014 model. It shares the Coupe's naturally aspirated 4.2-liter FSI V8, 7-speed S tronic dual-clutch automatic, and quattro all-wheel drive with a standard torque-vectoring sport rear differential.

Its US run was brief: both RS5 body styles were discontinued after the 2015 model year, giving the Cabriolet just two US model years (2014-2015) versus the Coupe's three (2013-2015).
