The Audi S3 Sedan (8Y.5, 2025-2026) is the mid-cycle facelift of the fourth-generation A3's performance model, a compact quattro all-wheel-drive sport sedan on the Volkswagen Group MQB Evo platform. Audi revealed the revised A3 and S3 in March 2024 for the 2025 model year, carrying over the same 2.0-liter EA888 turbo four and 7-speed S tronic dual-clutch but retuning the engine for more power and, for the first time on this car, adding the RS3's electronically controlled torque-vectoring rear differential in place of the old Haldex-type coupling.

It's still sold in the US only as a sedan - the Sportback hatchback body Audi builds for other markets remains unavailable here. The new rear differential narrows the gap to the RS3 sibling considerably, though the RS3 still brings a five-cylinder engine, more power, and RS-specific chassis tuning the S3 doesn't get.
