Standard across the range, including the 770 Ultimate, which retains the same carbon-ceramic units rather than upgrading them.
The DBS 770 Ultimate Volante is the open-top version of the send-off edition that closed out DBS Superleggera production in 2023. It shares the coupe's power bump to 759 hp (770 PS) via roughly 7% more turbo boost, the stiffened front structure, retuned adaptive dampers, faster transmission shifts, and "Victor"-inspired 21-inch wheels, wrapped in the Volante's folding soft top.
As with the coupe, the added carbon fiber does not translate into a documented weight reduction versus the standard DBS Superleggera Volante — see the Common Questions below. It was built at Gaydon as part of the numbered, sold-out 499-car 770 Ultimate run (199 of them Volantes).
No — Aston Martin's own published curb weight for the 770 Ultimate Volante (1,945 kg, EU-certified) is higher than the standard Volante's widely cited 1,863 kg (DIN curb weight), even allowing for the different weight standards used. Like the coupe, the 770 Ultimate Volante's verified story is more power and a stiffer chassis, not a weight cut.
