The DB9 GT is the range-topping version of the facelifted DB9, introduced for the final 2016 model year and unveiled at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in June 2015. It became the most powerful series-production DB9 built, adding a further output increase over the base 2013-2016 DB9 along with GT-specific trim, wheels, and interior detailing.
Beyond the extra power, Aston Martin gave the GT its own visual identity — new wheels, black-finished aero trim, and cabin pieces borrowed from the range-topping Vanquish — plus a 150-unit "GT Bond Edition" variant tied to its James Bond film partnership.
