The DB11 V12 AMR is the uprated, final-form version of the V12 DB11, announced in January 2018 for the 2019 model year alongside a limited 100-unit AMR Signature Edition. It carries the same 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 as the standard DB11 V12, retuned for more peak power, with a firmer rear suspension calibration and lighter forged wheels.
Aston Martin dropped the "AMR" name from its ordering sheets in July 2021 as part of a broader lineup restructuring, though the uprated V12 tune continued informally through the end of DB11 production in 2023. It was the last V12-powered DB11 before the DB12 moved the entire lineup to a turbo V8.

The changes are real but modest: more peak power, a firmer rear suspension tune, and lighter wheels, rather than a mechanical overhaul. Expect a sharper, not transformed, version of the same car.
