The Cayman GT4 Clubsport (2015–2016) is the track-only, non-street-legal race version of the 981 GT4, built for Porsche's customer racing program. It is not road-legal: it carries an FIA-spec welded roll cage, a six-point harness and a racing bucket seat, a stripped interior with no sound deadening, race hardware in place of road equipment, and forged wheels on Michelin slicks. It runs the PDK dual-clutch with 7th gear disabled for racing and adds 12-step adjustable ABS and an optional endurance fuel tank.
It shares the street GT4's 3.8-liter naturally aspirated flat-six. Stripping out the road equipment brings it to about 2,866 lb (1,300 kg), roughly 88 lb (40 kg) lighter than the street car — the one meaningful weight saving in the GT4 story. It became a common club and endurance racer. As a race car it has sparse road-car data, which is expected.
