Front suspension derived from the 991 GT3 with adjustable toe, camber and anti-roll bars; ride height ~30 mm lower than the standard Cayman.
380 mm discs front and rear sourced from the 991 GT3; PCCB carbon-ceramic optional.
The Cayman GT4 (2015–2016) is the first Cayman developed by Porsche's GT department, the team behind the 911 GT3. It is the street-legal, track-focused 981: a 3.8-liter naturally aspirated flat-six making 380 hp, a detuned version of the 991 Carrera S engine rather than the GT3's unit, driving the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual only — no PDK was offered on the 981 GT4. It adds a mechanical limited-slip differential and Porsche Torque Vectoring.
The GT4's story is chassis and aero, not weight. At about 2,954 lb (1,340 kg) it is essentially level with a manual GTS and only marginally under the PDK GTS, so it is not a strip-it-out lightweight in the GT3 RS mold. What it buys instead is hardware: front suspension and 380 mm brakes taken from the 991 GT3, a fixed rear wing, a front splitter and diffuser, a mechanical LSD, and a ride height dropped about 30 mm. The added downforce and chassis hardware roughly offset any diet — the advantage over the GTS is grip, aero, brakes and the bigger 3.8 engine, not curb weight.

No. The street 981 GT4 is manual-only. PDK appears only on the track-only GT4 Clubsport race car (run with 7th gear disabled) and later on the 718 GT4.
No. The GT4's 3.8-liter flat-six is a detuned version of the 991 Carrera S engine dropped into the Cayman, not the bespoke GT3 motor.
