PASM adaptive dampers standard; lowered ride height.
Vented cast-iron discs sized to output.
The Boxster GTS, added for the 2015 model year, is the top standard 981 Boxster. It runs the 3.4-liter MA1 flat-six tuned to 325 hp, above the Boxster S, with PASM adaptive dampers and the Sport Chrono package as standard equipment and a lowered, more aggressively-trimmed body. Rear-wheel drive, 6-speed manual or 7-speed PDK.
It slots between the S and the lightweight Spyder in the lineup while sharing the standard Boxster chassis. Like the rest of the range it uses the direct-injected MA1 flat-six, so it avoids the older 987's IMS bearing risk.

Same 3.4-liter flat-six as the S but uprated, plus PASM adaptive dampers and the Sport Chrono package as standard and a lowered, more aggressively-trimmed body. It is the warmest of the standard cars, sitting just below the Spyder.
