The 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet (992.2) is the open-top T-Hybrid GTS: the larger 3.6-liter flat-six with a single electric turbo (eTurbo) and an e-motor in the PDK, fed by a 400-volt, 1.9 kWh pack, rear-wheel drive, under a power fabric top. It is a performance hybrid, not a plug-in.
It carries the hybrid weight honestly — heavier than the old, non-hybrid GTS — with the response coming from the electric boost. Buy on the first-year software recalls and the as-yet-unproven long-term hybrid costs.

No. The eTurbo carries an electric motor on the shaft between the compressor and turbine wheels that spins it up instantly, so boost arrives from just off idle. Under load the same turbo runs as a generator, feeding the battery — there is no wastegate.
