PASM Sport lowered suspension standard as part of the T package.
Vented cast-iron discs sized to output; PCCB carbon-ceramic optional.
The 718 Cayman T, added for 2020, is a driver-focused trim of the base 2.0-liter turbo-four car rather than a more powerful model. It keeps the base engine but bundles the sport-focused hardware you would otherwise option: lowered PASM Sport suspension, Sport Chrono, a shorter shifter, torque vectoring with a mechanical limited-slip differential, and 20-inch wheels. Rear-wheel drive, 6-speed manual or 7-speed PDK.
The T is about feel and standard kit, not a big weight number — Porsche does not market a headline diet, and its DIN weight sits close to the base car. Like the rest of the range it uses the newer 982 engine, free of the IMS and bore-scoring worries of much older cars.
