PASM Sport lowered suspension standard as part of the T package.
Vented cast-iron discs sized to output; PCCB carbon-ceramic optional.
The 718 Boxster T, added for 2019, is a driver-focused trim of the base 2.0-liter turbo-four car rather than a more powerful model. It revives the historic 'T' (Touring) idea: it keeps the base engine but bundles the sport hardware you would otherwise option — lowered PASM Sport suspension (20 mm), Sport Chrono, a shorter shifter, torque vectoring with a mechanical limited-slip differential, 20-inch wheels and lightweight sport seats. Rear-wheel drive, 6-speed manual or 7-speed PDK.
The T deletes some equipment (including the standard infotainment screen) for weight and feel, but Porsche markets no headline diet, and its DIN weight sits close to the base car. Like the rest of the range it uses the newer 982 engine, free of the IMS and bore-scoring worries of much older cars.
