GT-R Track Edition ran alongside Premium from MY2017, initially sharing Premium's 565-hp engine with a track-focused chassis package. The MY2020 update brought a bigger change: Track Edition adopted NISMO's 600-hp engine, wider front fenders, NISMO-spec tires, and NISMO's carbon-ceramic brakes, closing much of the gap to the full NISMO car at a lower price.
Confirmed sold in the US at least through MY2020; how much longer it continued here isn't confirmed. By the final (MY2024) facelift, Nissan had made Track Edition exclusive to the Japanese market.

Only on powertrain and stopping power. It picks up NISMO's engine and carbon-ceramic brakes, but skips NISMO's carbon-fiber roof and fender panels, GT3-inspired fender vents, and Nissan's largest-rotor claim -- the body construction and styling stay Premium-based. Treat it as NISMO's mechanicals in a plainer shell, not a complete substitute.
