GT-R NISMO ran the full length of this generation, 2017 through 2024, as Nissan's motorsport-derived flagship: larger turbochargers, GT3-inspired fender vents, carbon-fiber roof and fender panels, and (Nissan's claim) the largest carbon-ceramic brake rotors ever fitted to a Japanese production car, all supporting 600 hp and 481 lb-ft against Premium's 565 hp.
NISMO picked up real mechanical updates twice more -- a MY2020 turbo, suspension, and steering revision, and a MY2024 facelift that added a front mechanical limited-slip differential, a larger rear wing, and revised aero -- but this research found no evidence either update raised its output. Treat NISMO's power as constant across the whole run.

Not by design -- the MY2020 turbo update actually moved to a two-piece housing specifically to make turbo service and swaps easier than on the earlier cars, a maintenance-friendly change rather than a track-only complication. The bigger day-to-day factor is still the shared dual-clutch transmission risk, not the turbo hardware.
