The AMG GT 63 is the mainstream V8 C192: the hand-built 4.0-liter twin-turbo in a 577 hp tune, standard 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive and the 9-speed MCT automatic. It's the one most buyers land on, quick and comfortable enough to use every day.
The all-wheel-drive system is fully variable and can send everything to the rear in Drift mode, so the 63 keeps some rear-drive playfulness while adding all-weather traction. Optional AMG Active Ride Control (hydraulically cross-linked dampers) sharpens body control without a stiff everyday ride.
Yes to both. It's AMG Performance 4MATIC+, but the split is fully variable and Drift mode can route all of the drive to the rear axle, so the 63 keeps rear-drive playfulness on top of all-weather traction.
