The Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera (2010-2013) is the lightweight version of the 5.2-liter car, and it does to the LP560-4 what the first Superleggera did to the 5.0. It sheds ~154 lb (~70 kg) down to 2,954 lb (~1,340 kg) dry through extensive carbon fiber, lighter glass and polycarbonate, thinner seats, and stripped-out sound deadening, and nudges power to 562 hp (570 PS). The savings buy sharper turn-in and a more urgent, race-car feel, not a headline top-speed jump.
At launch it was the lightest road-going Gallardo Lamborghini had built. It's the driver's pick of the later coupes: firmer, louder, and more direct than the LP560-4.

Same idea, newer hardware. The original 2007 Superleggera was the lightweight version of the 5.0-liter car; this one is built on the 5.2-liter LP560-4, so it has the newer direct-injected V10 and is measured against a different, already-lighter base car. Both strip weight the same way, through carbon fiber and a pared-back interior.
