The Gallardo Coupe (2003-2008) was the entry-level V10 Lamborghini, the car that sat under the V12 Murcielago and, in sheer numbers, became the best-selling Lamborghini ever. It launched with a 5.0-liter V10 and all-wheel drive, and it was the first Lamborghini built with real Audi-era money behind it, so it drove and screwed together better than anything from Sant'Agata before it. A 2006 update raised power and revised the suspension and steering.
You could have it with a gated six-speed manual or the paddle-shifted E-Gear automated manual. The manual is the one enthusiasts chase now, both for the metal gate and because it sidesteps the E-Gear's slowness, and expensive clutch and hydraulics.
