The Gallardo LP550-2 Coupe (2010-2013) is the rear-wheel-drive Gallardo (that's the -2 in the name). It sends its 542 hp (550 PS) to the rear only. Dropping the front driveline lightens the nose and frees the car up, giving it a more playful, tail-happy balance the all-wheel-drive cars deliberately rein in.
It grew out of the limited Valentino Balboni edition, named for Lamborghini's long-serving test driver, who wanted a rear-drive Gallardo. Enthusiasts tend to rate the rear-drive cars as the purest and most fun.

The 550 is the power in metric PS and the 2 is the number of driven wheels, versus the four of the LP560-4 sold alongside it. So it's slightly down on power and does without the front driveline entirely, which is the whole point: it's the rear-drive alternative in the range, not a replacement for the all-wheel-drive car.
