The Diablo SE30 (1993-1995) is the lightweight special built to mark Lamborghini's 30th anniversary, and the most focused first-generation Diablo. It's rear-drive and stripped: carbon-fiber bumpers, sills, and lids, magnesium OZ Racing wheels, two-piece plexiglass side windows, and deleted air conditioning, stereo, and power steering. All of that drops it to about 3,190 lb (~1,447 kg) dry, roughly 284 lb (~129 kg) lighter than the standard rear-drive Diablo.
It also gets more power, 518 hp (525 PS) from revised heads and a free-flow exhaust, plus anti-roll bars the driver can adjust from the cabin and a Miura-style slatted engine cover. Only 150 were built, 25 of them for the US.
An optional track-focused upgrade for the SE30. It raised output to around 587 hp (595 PS) and added roof-level air ducts feeding the engine. It wasn't meant for street use, and only about a dozen SE30s were fitted with it, which makes a genuine Jota-kit car the rarest way the SE30 was sold.
