The Aventador S (LP740-4, 2017-2021) is the mid-cycle overhaul. Power went up to 730 hp (740 PS), but the bigger news is the chassis: it's the first Lamborghini with rear-wheel steering, part of a new LDVA active-dynamics suite that turns the rear wheels with or against the fronts depending on speed. The aero was reworked too, with a larger front splitter and a three-position active rear wing.
Mitja Borkert's team restyled the nose and tail, and a new EGO drive mode lets the driver mix steering, suspension, and drivetrain settings independently. It's the most rounded and usable of the Aventadors to drive quickly, without going full track-car like the SVJ.

It's a customizable mode added on the S. Alongside the fixed Strada, Sport, and Corsa presets, EGO lets you set the steering, suspension, and drivetrain (traction and four-wheel-steering behavior) independently, so you can pair a softer ride with the sharpest driveline, or any other mix.
