The Ferrari 812 Competizione is the hardcore, limited-run send-off for the naturally aspirated front-V12, capped at 999 coupes and unveiled on May 5, 2021. Its F140 HB version of the 6.5-liter V12 is revised for 819 hp (830 PS) at 9,250 rpm and a 9,500 rpm redline, one of the highest-revving V12s Ferrari has put in a road car, using titanium con-rods (about 40% lighter than steel), DLC-coated piston pins and a reworked valvetrain and intake.

It's more than an engine special. Dry weight drops to 1,487 kg through heavy carbon-fiber use, it gets independent rear-wheel steering (each rear wheel actuated separately), a reworked aero package with a distinctive vortex-generator rear screen in place of a backlight, and stiffer, track-biased chassis tuning. Ferrari quotes 0-100 km/h in 2.85 seconds, 0-200 km/h in 7.5 seconds and a Fiorano lap of about 1:20. All 999 were spoken for.
