The Audi RS Q8 is Audi's first RS-badged SUV, sitting above the SQ8 as the range-topping Q8. It shares its twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 with the contemporary RS6 Avant and RS7, tuned to the same output, paired with the same 8-speed Tiptronic automatic and quattro all-wheel drive as the SQ8 but adding a standard sport differential and larger brakes.

It launched in the US for the 2021 model year, arriving alongside the 2021 RS6 Avant and RS7. At launch it set the production-SUV lap record at the Nürburgring Nordschleife (see the Nürburgring fact below).
