The Audi S5 Coupe (2018-2024) is the performance version of the redesigned second-generation A5, built on Volkswagen Group's MLB Evo platform. Audi switched engine families for this generation: the supercharged 3.0-liter TFSI V6 from the prior B8.5 cars is gone, replaced by a new turbocharged 3.0-liter TFSI V6 sending power through an 8-speed Tiptronic automatic to quattro all-wheel drive. No manual transmission is offered.

A mid-cycle facelift landed for the 2020 model year with updated styling, a digital gauge cluster, and revised infotainment, but no change to the engine's power or torque output, which stayed the same from the car's 2018 launch through the end of the 2024 model year.
