The Audi RS3 Sedan (8Y, 2022-2024) is the range-topping halo of the fourth-generation A3, powered by Audi's signature turbocharged 2.5-liter inline-five (EA855 evo) making 401 hp and 369 lb-ft, through a 7-speed S tronic dual-clutch and quattro all-wheel drive. Like the S3, it's sold in the US only as a sedan.
The defining change for this generation is the drivetrain: the RS3 introduced Audi's RS Torque Splitter, a twin-clutch rear axle that actively vectors torque between the rear wheels and adds a dedicated drift-oriented drive mode, replacing the previous Haldex-type coupling. It's an engineering first for this nameplate, and for these model years it's exclusive to the RS3 within the family; the S3 didn't get it until the later 8Y.5 facelift.
